As I put this book down and absorb its contents…. I can’t help but think of the recent news. The pain and sadness that is being seen in videos, pictures, and told in stories……
I recommend giving this book a read….
So many lives are affected by trauma. Learning about trauma can also be triggering and can be overwhelming at times however this book has been so helpful in its delivery and conscious effort not to overwhelm the reader.
The focus on understanding « what happened to you? » instead of « what’s wrong with you? » is so pivotal in supporting our health, those around else, and especially the children around us.
Give this book a try….
