She has been able to bring her experience back home to the Maritimes and build a practice that is family centered and collaborative. Jessica also coaches therapists in the field of pediatrics who want mentorship in early intervention therapy services.

Emma Brown, OT
Graduating in 2019 with her Bachelor of Science in Biology, Emma has always been fascinated by the unique power of the human body. This passion lends itself to a working belief that when you provide individuals with the functional tools to overcome barriers in their life, you enable a deeper sense of independence. After graduating with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2022, Emma is eager to combine her formal training and education with her desire to work with children.
A proud aunt of two nephews and one niece, Emma has been and continues to be a part of their developmental journey. Emma also has experience working as a hockey instructor, teaching younger aged children beginner hockey skills through fun on- and off-ice activities. During her time at Dalhousie University, her passion for working with youth led to a clinical placement with Autism Nova Scotia where she worked with children to enhance sensory processing through the occupation of play.
